In a Train.

It happened on a train while traveling from my city to Kiev.

I was invited to the Canadian Embassy for an interview before getting the visa.

Traveling to Kiev from my city takes one night by train.  I got on the train, received my bedding from a conductor and went to bed.
In the morning the linen was submitted back to the conductor. It was about 20-30 minutes left before the arrival to the place of the destination when I heard the voice of the conductor: “Whose wallet  is this?” - he was asking everyone in each compartment of the train. I thought: “Oh ... a poor lady or guy…” I really felt very sorry for someone. Meanwhile, the door of my compartment opened and the handsome smiling conductor asked me about the wallet  ... it showed it to me ... it was my wallet! Can you imagine my feelings? I sat with an open mouth and wide open eyes. I couldn't say anything. I was shocked and surprised by that situation. What happened was, after waking up, going to the washroom, I was trying to find something in my purse. I assume you know how “easy to find something in woman’s hand backs”. I threw all the contents out of it on the bed, found what I needed, put everything back, and then grabbed my linen in a pile and delivered it to the conductor's compartment.  Obviously, my wallet was in that pile. The good thing was that the conductor made a decision to organize everything and clean up his place before arriving in Kiev; otherwise, I could be in Kiev without my credit card and money. I am very glad that he was an honest guy.
